Annual Love Wins Fundraising Brunch 2026
The Annual Love Wins Fundraising Brunch is one of the most meaningful days of the year for Global Tendo La Upendo. It’s a time to come together as a community, reflect on how far we’ve come, and celebrate the lives that have been impacted through the generosity of our supporters.
This year’s brunch will take place on April 11, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Torii & Katrina Hunter Event Center, located at 25631 Smotherman Road in Frisco, Texas.
Each spring, our team returns from a mission trip to Uganda, where hundreds of solar lights are delivered to villages without access to electricity and clean water projects, including a new water well, are completed.
These moments on the ground remind us why this work matters and the brunch gives us the opportunity to share those stories with the people who make it possible.
During the event, we will also award scholarships to high school seniors from the DFW area, continuing our commitment to education and to investing in the future of our community.
