Restoring What Matters Most: Prison Outreach Fall 2022

At Global TLU, Prison Outreach is one of the most sacred parts of our mission—bringing love, dignity, and healing to places often forgotten. In Fall 2022, as facilities slowly reopened for visitation, we entered a season of prayer and preparation, trusting that our next step would be both timely and transformative.

We partnered with two local Texas prisons to host our unique “Family Day” experiences—a powerful expression of our belief that love can flourish even behind bars. This wasn’t just a visit—it was a reunion filled with laughter, connection, and moments that many families had longed for.

These special days included games, story time, family photos, picnics, and a touching family blessing. For just a few hours, incarcerated parents and their children were able to share smiles, hugs, and meaningful memories—a moment of hope in an often hopeless place.

At Global TLU, we believe in second chances, in healing from the inside out, and in the redemptive power of love. That’s what Prison Outreach means to us. And we are committed to continuing this work wherever doors open and hearts are ready.

Because even in the darkest places, love still wins.
